About Eric

Eric Moyer was born and raised in Northeast Nebraska, in the small town of Madison. Growing up, he spent every fall polishing apples and, once tall enough, picking apples at his grandparents' orchard. In the summer preceding his junior year in high school, he worked as a ranch hand for Zebro Cattle Company in Stanton County and continued to help as needed during the school year. He also somehow found time to earn the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America while participating in extracurricular activities like football, baseball, theater, and marching band.
Eric holds multiple degrees from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and a Master's in Marketing, Communication, and Advertising (MCA), and has spent nearly a decade building renewable energy projects throughout the Midwest. Before renewable energy, Eric worked as an actor, marketer, event manager, ranch hand, and Sunday School Teacher. This wide range of experience has given him a broad perspective on and an ability to relate to the challenges facing working families. Eric is proud to call Lincoln, Nebraska, home, where he lives with his wife of 25 years, their two children, and their precocious schnockerpoo, Alice.
"I love Nebraska and its people. Too often, the hardworking people of this amazing state have been marginalized or ignored. We are more than "fly-over country" or a quaint little blue dot. Nebraskans deserve respect and representation in Washington, D.C from our elected officials. It's time to stand up for ALL the incredible people who make this place like no other. Let's stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our neighbors, no matter what they look like or who they love, and be Nebraska strong, together."
